TGIF! Game Updates for November 8, 2019
Happy Friday everyone!
It’s been a busy week for the games with plenty of events, changes and updates being rolled out.
Before we go over the updates, just a quick note that this coming Monday is Remembrance Day here in Canada, so Kano HQ will be closed in observance. We’ll be around to make sure all the games continue to run smoothly, but there might be a delay in answering Support tickets until business resumes on Tuesday.
With that taken care of, let’s get into what’s new this past week for the games:
In Game Events!
What dark magics and unearthly knowledge compells the dreaded Shambling Titan to attack? Who can say, all you know is that this ambulatory warship is threatening your crew! Get new loot, achievements, and XP from this new Raid Boss this weekend!
Battle Royale
Next Thursday, November 14th, we’ll be running a Battle Royale event in Mob Wars: LCN. Like the last few we’ll be mixing up the formula a little bit.
For this next Battle Royale the entry fee will be 10 Favor Points, but you won’t need to spend Favor Points on anything once you’re in the match.
You’ll be given a starting inventory of MedKits and a few Vitality Boosts. We’ll be adding Vitality Boosts as a potential drop from fights just like MedKits and items, and disabling the item repair functionality. If your equipped items break, make sure to use a new one!

Lottery Changes
As outlined in last week’s TGIF, this past week we rolled out a new Lottery system! This is a bit of a change from the previous one, but with better odds of winning and a Jackpot that can grow past 1,000 FP it’s sure to be more thrilling than the old version. Make sure to visit the Lottery page to see what the Jackpot is up to now!
As a reminder, here’s what’s changed with this new Lottery format:
- For your new tickets you’ll be manually selecting 5 numbers between 1 and 18
- Draws are no longer per network, so all games will have one draw per game
- Tickets cost 2 FP, but this contributes to the total jackpot (like a real lottery)
- No more free Lottery tickets will be given out, except for placing 3rd in a draw
- Accounts need to be level 100 to get a Lottery ticket
Familia/Inner Circle Update
Yesterday we opened 5 additional spots for your Familia/Inner Circle in Mob Wars: LCN, Viking Clan and Pirate Clan. This has been a long-requested community idea, so thanks for your suggestion and patience while we worked on bringing this change to the games.
Here’s when the extra 5 spots will become available in each game:
LCN - Level 1,400
VC - Level 2,700
PC - Level 2,100
Next Week’s Admin Blitz Event
Next week, we’ll be holding an Admin Blitz in Zombie Slayer! If you’ve around on the following date, make sure to drop by and nab some sweet cash off of some Kano folk:
Tuesday, November 12: Zombie Slayer server 1 @ 3:00 pm Pacific and Zombie Slayer server 2 @ 3:30 pm Pacific.
