TGIF! Pirate Clan Updates for December 20, 2024

Happy Friday, players!

Christmas is almost upon us and we hope everyone has completed their gift buying (or at least close enough). The Kano team has been busy this week rolling out a new type of leaderboard that we can’t wait for players to check out. Also a reminder that the office will be closed on Christmas next week, but apart from that your Player Success team will be online to help with anything that comes up. Now let’s jump into the news of the week!!

In-Game Updates:

Our newest mini-game makes its return! The Royal Plunder Challenge is live now and runs until December 23rd. Destroy the vessel to earn XP and Cash and by dealing enough damage and destroying it, you’ll earn yourself the clear bonus Item! A new Prestige Location has just opened in the world of Pirate Clan; more Adventures await in Sandsea - but you will survive? Eligible Pirates can now take on Bronze Tier Adventures in this Location to earn bonus Coin, XP, Skill Points, and Prestige Coins. The Armada Wars event begins today! Pirate Clan players can dive in starting at 10AM (PST). Rally your team and make sure you’re all enrolled before it kicks off. Battle hard for the best rewards and good luck!

Next week join us for an Admin Blitz event! If you're around on the following date, make sure to drop by & nab some sweet Coin off of the Kano folk. Watch out for the group chats that get posted beforehand and remember to bump up those Admins Killed and Listed stats.

Tuesday, December 24th - Server 1, Server 2, and the Kongregate & Armor Servers @ 3PM (PST).

We are excited to introduce Seasonal Leaderboards to the game! These new leaderboards will track your progress during limited time “seasons” (both against “Friends” and against the “World”) . At the start of a new season they are reset, giving all players both new and old a chance to compete to the top. The “Friends” category on the Seasonal Leaderboards will also be updated more frequently than done previously. We also still have our All-Time Leaderboards available where you can compare yourself to the top players in the game. Lastly, a reminder that twice a week there are new item drops in-game. Limited Time items on Tuesdays and Limited Quantity on Fridays. Keep an eye out for anything that catches your interest!

Tip of the Week: Remember to check your Social Feeds in-game, so that you can offer help to your fellow Pirates on their Adventures. It’s a great way to help a friend and earn a little extra for yourself.

We recently released a new method for players to acquire Favor Points through a system called Rev U. By completing tasks such as making progress in a game or by filling out a survey, players can start earning extra FP for their account! For our Mobile App players, we now have a new option for purchasing Favor Points, the Xsolla Webstore! Not only does it support more payment methods than what was previously available, but you’ll also have access to exclusive larger bundles of FP! A reminder to our players about completing the Kano ID account upgrade. Eligible players (Facebook/Server 1 players) will see the banner on their homepage in-game near the top and it should only take a couple minutes. There are wonderful benefits to doing so:

Secure your account (protection against potential loss of your Facebook or Mobile credentials)
