TGIF! Pirate Clan Updates for October 4, 2024
Happy Friday, players!
Happy spooky month and we hope you don’t get too scared ;) Starting this week we will be introducing a Tip of the Week in our TGIF, so keep your eyes peeled for it right above the “Coming Soon” section. Now with that said, let’s jump into the news!
In-Game Updates:
We hope you enjoyed that sunshine and are topped up on vitamin C, because the Pestilence Raid Boss has rode into town. Everywhere he travels, death and sickness are left in his wake. Gather your courage Pirates and prepare for a fight. Defeating this Raid Boss will earn you loot and XP, plus there is something else going on this week…
The Armada Raid event is back! As you take actions against the Pestilence Raid Boss you will work towards unlocking your Armada only Raid Boss, Akkorokamui! Work with your team to take down this foe to earn rewards and climb the event leaderboards. The Autumn Sale has blown into Pirate Clan this weekend! This exclusive promotion will only be available until Saturday October 5th at 9AM PDT, so check it out while you can. There are brand new bundles available with items and Favor Points. The Equinox set will deck you out with powerful items.
Next week starting on Monday October 7th is Blitz Week! There will be an increase in Blitz events running, so keep your eyes peeled and get that bonus XP!
We recently put out an update on the Game Economy on our blog. You can read the full post here - https://www.kanoplay.com/blog/game-economy-update.html - We will be pausing Blitz events over the next two days as we make more changes to improve the feature. This includes the removal of the facilitator fees, an increase in Godfather targets and adding a new cash bonus on random targets. We'll be continuing to make more updates to the Blitz and Hitlist over the coming weeks. Blitz events will return on Monday with the kickoff of Blitz Week!
Lastly, a reminder that twice a week there are new item drops in-game. Limited Time items on Tuesdays and Limited Quantity on Fridays. Keep an eye out for anything that catches your interest!
Tip of the Week: In case you missed it, we have recently released the community voted update to Adventures that will now allow players to use more Energy to complete them more efficiently. The options are 1X, 2X, 5X and 10X.

We recently released a new method for players to acquire Favor Points through a system called Rev U. By completing tasks such as making progress in a game or by filling out a survey, players can start earning extra FP for their account! For our Mobile App players, we now have a new option for purchasing Favor Points, the Xsolla Webstore! Not only does it support more payment methods than what was previously available, but you’ll also have access to exclusive larger bundles of FP! A reminder to our players about completing the Kano ID account upgrade. Eligible players (Facebook/Server 1 players) will see the banner on their homepage in-game near the top and it should only take a couple minutes. There are wonderful benefits to doing so:
- 25 FP bonus for signing up
- Secure your account (protection against potential loss of your Facebook or Mobile credentials)
- Switch between devices or logging onto other Kano hosted sites
- Specials offers on Kanoplay
