TGIF! Pirate Clan Updates for May 17, 2024
Happy Friday, players!
This past week we have run a poll on our Discord where players can vote for what update they would like to see implemented next into the games. We appreciate everyone who has checked it out and voted and it’ll be closing today with the winning choice announced during our Discord Stream at 12PM (PDT). You can find the poll pinned in the “General Chat” on our Kano Discord and stay tuned for future polls like this. Now without further ado, let’s jump into the news of the week!
In-Game Updates:
Rumors have long claimed a great Dragon guards a legendary horde of treasure on a small island lost at sea. It is time to raise anchor and set sail to claim this bounty for yourself! Be warned though, this is no ordinary serpent. The legendary Dragon Hydra Raid Boss awaits you and each of its terrifying heads will be hungry for Pirate flesh. Work with your fellow Captains to bring down this mythic beast and take what is yours! However, there is more going on during this Raid event…
Because the Raid Ranks event has returned! Battling and defeating the Dragon Hydra Raid Boss will earn you Rank Points and eventually even cause the Boss to rank up! As you take on these harder versions you’ll get the chance to earn Mythic Loot drops. That’s not all though, there is even a leaderboard for the event that’ll give out more rewards at the end! To all the Moms out there it is time to return home, drop anchor and put your feet up because it is time to celebrate you with the Mother’s Day Sale! Available right now in Pirate Clan, there are brand new bundles of the item set and Favor points to obtain. This promotion will only be running until Saturday May 18th @ 9AM PDT, so check it out while you can! The Witchmother is a mystic Matey that will help you in your coming adventures!
A smaller update that we recently released, player links are now clickable in World Chat. We felt this would better help players navigate the game and interact with both friends and foes!
Lastly, a reminder that twice a week there are new item drops in-game. Limited Time items on Tuesdays and Limited Quantity on Fridays. Keep an eye out for anything that catches your interest!

General Updates:
iOS Black Screen Issue - As mentioned last week there is a current issue where a small subset of our iOS Mobile players are running into a black screen when trying to load / log-in to our mobile apps. We are working currently on identifying the root issue and getting this resolved as soon as possible.

We recently released a new method for players to acquire Favor Points through a system called Rev U. By completing tasks such as making progress in a game or by filling out a survey, players can start earning extra FP for their account! For our Mobile App players, we now have a new option for purchasing Favor Points, the Xsolla Webstore! Not only does it support more payment methods than what was previously available, but you’ll also have access to exclusive larger bundles of FP! A reminder to our players about completing the Kano ID account upgrade. Eligible players (Facebook/Server 1 players) will see the banner on their homepage in-game near the top and it should only take a couple minutes. There are wonderful benefits to doing so:
- 25 FP bonus for signing up
- Secure your account (protection against potential loss of your Facebook or Mobile credentials)
- Switch between devices or logging onto other Kano hosted sites
- Specials offers on Kanoplay
