TGIF! Viking Clan Updates for April 11, 2025

Happy Friday, players!

And welcome back to another edition of the TGIF! This is the place to be if you’re looking for game updates and news. We’ve got a ton going on at Kano and can’t wait to share more. Let’s get started with this week!

In-Game Updates:

The great eight legged Horse of myth bounds across the planes towards the warriors of Viking Clan. They say it is the swiftest horse in history and no mortal can tame it. Let’s put that to the test Vikings as you take on the Sleipnir Raid Boss! Defeat this Boss and earn tons of XP and loot, but keep your weapon ready because there is something else going on during this event…

Gather your crew and sharpen those wits, because the Raid Vault Breaker event has returned! For every 1000 actions taken against a Raid Boss you will earn yourself a Crew Member. There are 5 different Crew Members you can unlock with varying skill levels. You can then use those Crew Members to break open Vaults. There are 4 types of Vaults and the bigger the Vault means the better the reward (but also requires more Crew). On top of that we have an event leaderboard that’ll give out even more prizes at the end. The birds are chirping and the bees buzzing, which must mean it is Spring! To celebrate, let's soak in the sun, touch some grass and enjoy the amazing Spring Sale! We’ve got all new bundles with Favor Points and the Spring item set. Check it out while you can, because this promotion ends on Saturday April 12th @ 9AM PDT. Add to your army with the Springborn Minion which brings along its high attack power!

In case you missed it, recently announced at our Discord Stream, then shown off at our major Livestream are brand new Blitz Modes starting with the launch of the Reset Rumble! These new modes will offer a fun twist on the traditional Blitz event by offering unique modifiers or new rules. We have started off with the Reset Rumble which has these new changes:

During the event all players will have their cost reset back to base price (your cost will revert back to what it was after the hour ends).
Players are not able to heal while on the hitlist.

Lastly, a reminder that twice a week there are new item drops in-game. Limited Time items on Tuesdays and Limited Quantity on Fridays. Keep an eye out for anything that catches your interest!

Tip of the Week: If you hadn’t heard already, you can receive EXCLUSIVE items from tuning into our monthly Livestreams! These items are awarded to all who join us during the Livestream and once it is over the item is gone. It can’t be found anywhere else. So don’t miss out and we’ll see you there!

General Updates:

We recently released a new method for players to acquire Favor Points through a system called Rev U. By completing tasks such as making progress in a game or by filling out a survey, players can start earning extra FP for their account! For our Mobile App players, we now have a new option for purchasing Favor Points, the Xsolla Webstore! Not only does it support more payment methods than what was previously available, but you’ll also have access to exclusive larger bundles of FP! A reminder to our players about completing the Kano ID account upgrade. Eligible players (Facebook/Server 1 players) will see the banner on their homepage in-game near the top and it should only take a couple minutes. There are wonderful benefits to doing so:

Secure your account (protection against potential loss of your Facebook or Mobile credentials)
Switch between devices or logging onto other Kano hosted sites
