TGIF! Viking Clan Updates for August 16, 2024
Happy Friday, players!
Did you know that today is National Tell a Joke Day? Well if you didn’t, now you do! In case you missed it, each week at the end of the TGIF we’ll share our “Lame Joke of the Week”. If you think you got a great one, pop over to our Discord to let us know and it may find its way into an upcoming TGIF. Now with all that said, let’s jump into it!
In-Game Updates:
This week season 43 of the Battle Pass has been released! There are brand new Free and Premium Reward tracks to clear. The rewards are plentiful from new customization options, Favor Points, boosts and the final bonus item set! Check it out while you can because it is only available until September 11th.
The Guild Quests event is live now in Viking Clan! Gather your Guild members and work your way through 6 quests to earn Loot Chests. Remember that Medium and Hard quests will reward Favor Points based on your contributions.
Don’t miss out on the brand new Gemstone Crates that dropped today! There is an all new Legendary item set up for grabs. Also just a reminder that the 3 X Master Crates set always comes with at least one guaranteed Legendary drop. Good luck!
Our newest mini-game makes its return! The Ragnar’s Voyage Challenge is live now and runs until August 19th. Destroy the ship to earn XP and Cash and by dealing enough damage and destroying it, you’ll earn yourself the clear bonus Item! With the lazy days of summer also comes summer camp! Starting Monday August 19th and running until August 23rd is the Kamp Kano Calendar! Completing this challenge will reward you with tons of XP plus the clear bonus item.
Lastly, a reminder that twice a week there are new item drops in-game. Limited Time items on Tuesdays and Limited Quantity on Fridays. Keep an eye out for anything that catches your interest!

We recently released a new method for players to acquire Favor Points through a system called Rev U. By completing tasks such as making progress in a game or by filling out a survey, players can start earning extra FP for their account! For our Mobile App players, we now have a new option for purchasing Favor Points, the Xsolla Webstore! Not only does it support more payment methods than what was previously available, but you’ll also have access to exclusive larger bundles of FP! A reminder to our players about completing the Kano ID account upgrade. Eligible players (Facebook/Server 1 players) will see the banner on their homepage in-game near the top and it should only take a couple minutes. There are wonderful benefits to doing so:
- 25 FP bonus for signing up
- Secure your account (protection against potential loss of your Facebook or Mobile credentials)
- Switch between devices or logging onto other Kano hosted sites
- Specials offers on Kanoplay
