TGIF! Viking Clan Updates for August 30, 2024
Happy Friday, players!
A final big thank you to everyone that tuned in for our recent 5000 Subscriber Livestream! The response from our players has been amazing and we’re glad to hear everyone was excited about the exclusive Ruby Skull item. In-Game Updates:
The call of the horn blasts through the night sky as you hear the thundering of hooves approaching from all directions. As you scan the land around you the sound continues to build, your eyes finally find them, charging down from high above, The Wild Hunt Raid Boss! These otherworldly warriors are here for only one reason and it is to eliminate the Vikings. Gather yourselves warriors and prepare for battle! Victory will not only bring you loot drops and XP, but there is something else going on during this event…
The return of the Raid Fusion event! As you battle The Wild Hunt Raid Boss you’ll be earning components for the actions you take. These can then be fused together with the common and superior item drops you receive from the Raid Boss to create even more powerful weapons and ultimately Mythic items! There is also a leaderboard that will grant bonus rewards based on your event performance. With summer coming to a close we’re kicking off the Back to School Sale! Available right now in-game, but only running until Saturday August 31st @ 9AM PDT, there are brand new items and Favor Point bundles. Don’t miss out on this exclusive promotion while you can and check out the Truth Bomb weapon if you’re looking for something with great attack power.
Lastly, a reminder that twice a week there are new item drops in-game. Limited Time items on Tuesdays and Limited Quantity on Fridays. Keep an eye out for anything that catches your interest!

We recently released a new method for players to acquire Favor Points through a system called Rev U. By completing tasks such as making progress in a game or by filling out a survey, players can start earning extra FP for their account! For our Mobile App players, we now have a new option for purchasing Favor Points, the Xsolla Webstore! Not only does it support more payment methods than what was previously available, but you’ll also have access to exclusive larger bundles of FP! A reminder to our players about completing the Kano ID account upgrade. Eligible players (Facebook/Server 1 players) will see the banner on their homepage in-game near the top and it should only take a couple minutes. There are wonderful benefits to doing so:
- 25 FP bonus for signing up
- Secure your account (protection against potential loss of your Facebook or Mobile credentials)
- Switch between devices or logging onto other Kano hosted sites
