TGIF! Viking Clan Updates for August 9, 2024

Happy Friday, players!

Hopefully everyone has had some chance to enjoy the sunshine this summer and get that all important vitamin D, but don’t forget the sunscreen! The Kano team isn’t slowing down and we got lots coming over the next few weeks and beyond. In particular, if you’re a big fan of Blitz events then I would check out below…so let’s jump into it!

In-Game Updates:

The Guild Wars event begins today! Viking Clan players can dive in starting at 4PM (PDT). Rally your team and make sure you’re all enrolled before it kicks off. Battle hard for the best rewards and good luck!

Starting today and available until Monday August 12th @ 10AM PDT is the weekend Calendar Challenge - Krazy Kart Ride! Check it out while you can and earn yourself the clear bonus item.

As teased in our intro, starting on Monday August 12th is a Blitz Week! All week long there will be an increase in Blitz events running in the game. Keep your eyes peeled and your gold ready, good luck players!

Over the last few weeks there have been issues with our bonus boost links for mobile players. This week we released a fix for this, so these should be working normally again for everyone! Make sure to have the latest version of the mobile app downloaded and our apologies for the inconvenience caused.

Lastly, a reminder that twice a week there are new item drops in-game. Limited Time items on Tuesdays and Limited Quantity on Fridays. Keep an eye out for anything that catches your interest!

General Updates:

For our Discord community, every Friday you can join Matthew and the Player Success team for the Discord Stream! On Fridays at 12PM PST (or 3PM EST) you can join us live in our growing Kano Community Discord. We recently released a new method for players to acquire Favor Points through a system called Rev U. By completing tasks such as making progress in a game or by filling out a survey, players can start earning extra FP for their account! For our Mobile App players, we now have a new option for purchasing Favor Points, the Xsolla Webstore! Not only does it support more payment methods than what was previously available, but you’ll also have access to exclusive larger bundles of FP! A reminder to our players about completing the Kano ID account upgrade. Eligible players (Facebook/Server 1 players) will see the banner on their homepage in-game near the top and it should only take a couple minutes. There are wonderful benefits to doing so:
