TGIF! Viking Clan Updates for January 10, 2025

Happy Friday, players!

In case you missed it, this week we hosted our big monthly Livestream on our Facebook and Youtube pages. The Livestreams are a great chance to get updates, reveal new surprises and even walk away with exclusive items. In-Game Updates:

This week, we’re excited to announce the release of the new Grikkland Location in Viking Clan! However, you may notice that this update does not include new Empire.

As part of our ongoing efforts to better balance the Cash economy, we’ve decided to hold off on introducing new Empire for now. Rest assured, we plan to revisit and backfill Empire in the future once we’ve made the necessary adjustments to ensure a more balanced gameplay experience.

In the meantime, you can look forward to all the other exciting content that comes with new locations in Bosses, Challenges, and Crafting, rolling out as usual in the weeks following this release.

A NEW Prestige Location has also been released in Viking Clan: you can now return to Folkvang! Eligible Vikings can now complete Bronze Tier Adventures to earn extra Coin, bonus XP, Prestige Coins, and Skill Points. Starting off the year right with a brand new Season of the Battle Pass! There are fresh rewards to collect from both the Free and Premium reward tracks that you won’t want to miss. New for this Season of the Premium Battle Pass, the final item set you receive has gotten a massive upgrade in terms of power. These items will now be more closely related to Legendary items in terms of stats.

The Guild Wars event begins today! Viking Clan players can dive in starting at 10AM (PST). Rally your team and make sure you’re all enrolled before it kicks off. Battle hard for the best rewards and good luck!

Next week join us for an Admin Blitz event! If you're around on the following date, make sure to drop by & nab some sweet Coin off of the Kano folk. Watch out for the group chats that get posted beforehand and remember to bump up those Admins Killed and Listed stats.

Admin Blitz events will now also have a special Kano item giveaway, so don’t miss out! We hope to see you there on:

Tuesday, January 14th - Server 1, Server 2, and the Kongregate & Armor Servers @ 3PM (PST).

Coming in hot from the hands of the master craftsmen, are the all new Legendary Clockwork Crates! These come packed with ultra powerful Legendary weapons to obtain, so check it out while they are available. Just a reminder that the 3 x Master Crate packs come with a guaranteed Legendary drop every time!

Starting today and running until January 13th @ 10AM PST, you can take on the Pixelator Calendar Challenge! Complete this challenge to earn yourself the clear bonus item along with the special art background!

Lastly, a reminder that twice a week there are new item drops in-game. Limited Time items on Tuesdays and Limited Quantity on Fridays. Keep an eye out for anything that catches your interest!

We recently released a new method for players to acquire Favor Points through a system called Rev U. By completing tasks such as making progress in a game or by filling out a survey, players can start earning extra FP for their account! For our Mobile App players, we now have a new option for purchasing Favor Points, the Xsolla Webstore! Not only does it support more payment methods than what was previously available, but you’ll also have access to exclusive larger bundles of FP! A reminder to our players about completing the Kano ID account upgrade. Eligible players (Facebook/Server 1 players) will see the banner on their homepage in-game near the top and it should only take a couple minutes. There are wonderful benefits to doing so:
