TGIF! Viking Clan Updates for January 17, 2025

Happy Friday, players!

We hope the start of 2025 has been kind to you all. Over with the Kano team things have been busy as we’ve finalized some exciting updates planned for the games in the coming months and year ahead. We can’t wait to share more and for now let’s jump into the news of the week!

In-Game Updates:

Deep in the depths of the hottest places in Viking Clan resides the feared warrior Eldjotunn. Brace yourselves Vikings, for a blazing Raid Boss has attacked! Work with your fellow Clan members to bring down this formidable foe and earn yourself XP and loot. Do not drop your guard however, for there is something else going on during this event…

The Raid Games have returned! Completing any actions (attacks and heals) on Eldjotunn Raid Boss will contribute to your team’s overall progress. The team that completes the most actions will claim the top spot on the podium along with the rewards for it! On top of that there are checkpoints along the way and each checkpoint reached will reward you with a bonus item. Ring in 2025 with the New Year Sale! Available right now in-game and running until Saturday January 18th @ 9AM PST. There are all new bundles to check out with the New Year item set along with Favor Points. Grab your New Year Celebration Horn and give it a blast to scare your enemies and mark the start of a new year!

Our newest mini-game makes its return! The Ragnar’s Voyage Challenge is live now and runs until January 20th. Destroy the ship to earn XP and Cash and by dealing enough damage and destroying it, you’ll earn yourself the clear bonus Item! Vikings, if you've unlocked our latest Location, Grikkland, you can NOW take on the Location Boss; the fierce Varangian General and you can take on the Grikkland Location challenge. Explore our latest Location, take on new Adventures and unlock new Achievements!

Lastly, a reminder that twice a week there are new item drops in-game. Limited Time items on Tuesdays and Limited Quantity on Fridays. Keep an eye out for anything that catches your interest!

Tip of the Week: If you sent in a ticket and haven't heard back from us after a couple days, please check your spam or junk folders in your email inbox. Sometimes our messages can get redirected there and players miss our replies.

For our Discord community, each Friday you can join Matthew and the Player Success team for the Discord Stream! On Fridays at 12PM PST you can join us live in our growing Kano Community Discord. We recently released a new method for players to acquire Favor Points through a system called Rev U. By completing tasks such as making progress in a game or by filling out a survey, players can start earning extra FP for their account! For our Mobile App players, we now have a new option for purchasing Favor Points, the Xsolla Webstore! Not only does it support more payment methods than what was previously available, but you’ll also have access to exclusive larger bundles of FP! A reminder to our players about completing the Kano ID account upgrade. Eligible players (Facebook/Server 1 players) will see the banner on their homepage in-game near the top and it should only take a couple minutes. There are wonderful benefits to doing so:

Secure your account (protection against potential loss of your Facebook or Mobile credentials)
