TGIF! Viking Clan Updates for July 5, 2024
Happy Friday, players!
Aaand welcome to the kick off of our Summer Raid Games! The competition will be fierce, but the glory will make it all worthwhile. We’re kicking off in Viking Clan then rolling into Pirate Clan, Zombie Slayer and finishing off with Mob Wars LCN over the next four weeks. Remember to keep an eye on the Raid page in-game to register for your team prior to the start. With all that said, let’s jump into it!
In-Game Updates:
High above the forests, rivers and lands of the Vikings the great bird watches and waits. Now descending from its perch on the World Tree, it attacks! The legendary Vedrfolnir Raid Boss has struck out against the warriors of Viking Clan. Prepare yourselves for not only a tough battle to claim your rewards, but there is something else going on this week…
The Summer Raid Games have returned! Join a team and complete any actions (attacks or heals) against the Vedrfolnir Raid Boss to help progress your team through the checkpoints. As you complete checkpoints you’ll earn items, plus at the end based on your placement there will be even more rewards! Long have you fought for your clan and freedom, so today it is time to celebrate with the Independence Day Sale! This exclusive promotion is live right now in-game and will end on Saturday July 6th @ 9AM PDT. There are brand new bundles with the Independence Day item set along with bunches of Favor Points, so check it out while you can! The Independence Champion is a powerful ally to bring into battle with you.
This weekend there is a special calendar available, the Independence Day Calendar! You’ll have until Monday July 8th @ 10AM (PDT) to complete this challenge and earn yourself lots of XP and the clear bonus item.
Lastly, a reminder that twice a week there are new item drops in-game. Limited Time items on Tuesdays and Limited Quantity on Fridays. Keep an eye out for anything that catches your interest!

We recently released a new method for players to acquire Favor Points through a system called Rev U. By completing tasks such as making progress in a game or by filling out a survey, players can start earning extra FP for their account! For our Mobile App players, we now have a new option for purchasing Favor Points, the Xsolla Webstore! Not only does it support more payment methods than what was previously available, but you’ll also have access to exclusive larger bundles of FP! A reminder to our players about completing the Kano ID account upgrade. Eligible players (Facebook/Server 1 players) will see the banner on their homepage in-game near the top and it should only take a couple minutes. There are wonderful benefits to doing so:
- 25 FP bonus for signing up
- Secure your account (protection against potential loss of your Facebook or Mobile credentials)
- Switch between devices or logging onto other Kano hosted sites
- Specials offers on Kanoplay
