TGIF! Viking Clan Updates for November 15, 2024
Happy Friday, players!
Thank you to everyone who joined us last Tuesday for our Black Friday Livestream! We had a great time going over recent events in-game, talking about the proposed Raid Campers update as well as giving away the exclusive Obsidian Skull item (plus Kano Lootcase) to all who attended. In-Game Updates:
The Guild Wars event begins today! Viking Clan players can dive in starting at 10AM (PST). Rally your team and make sure you’re all enrolled before it kicks off. Battle hard for the best rewards and good luck!
In case you missed it! Last week a brand new season of the Battle Pass dropped! That means there are all new Free and Premium reward tracks to collect from. There are items, Stamina, Energy and Favor Points to earn along with stylish new customization options for your profile. You’ve only got until December 4th to complete it and collect all of your rewards, so don’t miss out!
A new Prestige Location has just been released in Viking Clan: we've re-opened Midgard - Odin's Ravens! Eligible Vikings can now complete Bronze Tier Adventures to earn extra Coin, bonus XP, Prestige Coins, and Skill Points. Brand new Legendary items are available right now in the Stained Glass Crates! Fresh out of the armory, these Crates contain some of the most powerful weapons you can find. Check them out while they are here and a reminder that the 3 X Master Crate pack always comes with a guaranteed Legendary item drop.
Next week join us for an Admin Blitz event! If you're around on the following date, make sure to drop by & nab some sweet Coin off of the Kano folk. Watch out for the group chats that get posted beforehand and remember to bump up those Admins Killed and Listed stats.

Starting this coming Monday November 18th and running until Friday November 22nd @ 10PM PST is the weekday Calendar - Movember! Complete this challenge to earn XP along with the special clear bonus item. Good luck!
Lastly, a reminder that twice a week there are new item drops in-game. Limited Time items on Tuesdays and Limited Quantity on Fridays. Keep an eye out for anything that catches your interest!
Tip of the Week: When competing in the Quests Event the Medium and Hard Quests will reward Favor Points to the players based on their personal contribution to that specific quest. Next time you see those quests available, get your actions in and claim those FPs!

We recently released a new method for players to acquire Favor Points through a system called Rev U. By completing tasks such as making progress in a game or by filling out a survey, players can start earning extra FP for their account! For our Mobile App players, we now have a new option for purchasing Favor Points, the Xsolla Webstore! Not only does it support more payment methods than what was previously available, but you’ll also have access to exclusive larger bundles of FP! A reminder to our players about completing the Kano ID account upgrade. Eligible players (Facebook/Server 1 players) will see the banner on their homepage in-game near the top and it should only take a couple minutes. There are wonderful benefits to doing so:
- 25 FP bonus for signing up
- Secure your account (protection against potential loss of your Facebook or Mobile credentials)
- Switch between devices or logging onto other Kano hosted sites
- Specials offers on Kanoplay
