TGIF! Viking Clan Updates for November 22, 2024
Happy Friday, players!
We hope you have been having a great week. Shockingly it is already the end of November and the holiday season is approaching quickly. The team here has been busy working on a few exciting updates that we can’t wait to share with you. Now let’s jump into the news of the week!
In-Game Updates:
As a lad he watched his family get taken for all they had. From that day on he swore he would never allow that to happen again to his kin. Years later this fearsome warrior is known and feared across the land. The Viking Warlord Raid Boss is on the march, so sound the horn and prepare your army for battle! Defeating this boss will not only earn you XP and loot, but there is something else going on this week…
Raid Ranks have returned! Players will summon the Viking Warlord Raid Boss and work to defeat it. As you defeat Raid Bosses you will earn “Rank Points” to increase your personal Raid Rank and allow the summoning of higher level Bosses. Get to the highest Rank and you will be able to earn Premium item drops! There is also an event leaderboard that will award additional prizes at the end. If you’ve been keeping up with our previous Livestream, the weekly Discord Stream or the TGIF you’ll know that we’ve been working on bringing a long requested tool to the Raid events - the option to remove Raid Campers. We are excited to announce that the update is ready and will be available for this current Raid event! We are pleased to announce our biggest promotion of the year, the Black Friday Sale! Our newest mini-game makes its return! The Ragnar’s Voyage Challenge is live now and runs until November 25th. Destroy the ship to earn XP and Cash and by dealing enough damage and destroying it, you’ll earn yourself the clear bonus Item! Lastly, a reminder that twice a week there are new item drops in-game. Limited Time items on Tuesdays and Limited Quantity on Fridays. Keep an eye out for anything that catches your interest!
Tip of the Week: Keeping your Raid Boss Party healed up is not just a good choice for safety. You will earn the max amount of XP when your Party is in good health.

We recently released a new method for players to acquire Favor Points through a system called Rev U. By completing tasks such as making progress in a game or by filling out a survey, players can start earning extra FP for their account! For our Mobile App players, we now have a new option for purchasing Favor Points, the Xsolla Webstore! Not only does it support more payment methods than what was previously available, but you’ll also have access to exclusive larger bundles of FP! A reminder to our players about completing the Kano ID account upgrade. Eligible players (Facebook/Server 1 players) will see the banner on their homepage in-game near the top and it should only take a couple minutes. There are wonderful benefits to doing so:
- 25 FP bonus for signing up
- Secure your account (protection against potential loss of your Facebook or Mobile credentials)
- Switch between devices or logging onto other Kano hosted sites
- Specials offers on Kanoplay
