TGIF! Viking Clan Updates for October 25, 2024

Happy Friday, players!

If you haven’t noticed yet, we have a new segment in the TGIF (right above the Coming Soon section) called Tip of the Week! We’ll include some handy tips that you may not know (or remember) that can improve your gaming experience. Now let’s jump into the news of the week!

In-Game Updates:

Old tales speak of the skull antlered mask deep in the old forest. It is worn by a creature that no living person has ever laid eyes on. Be wary, Vikings young and old, because the Skinwalker is on the move. This dangerous Raid Boss is prepared to strike and it’ll be up to the warriors of Viking Clan to stand in its way. Defeat this foe and earn yourself XP and loot, however be warned, for there is something else going on during this Raid…

Raid Fusion has returned! In this event taking actions against the Skinwalker Raid Boss will earn you Components which can then be taken to the Fusion workshop and combined with the regular Raid drops to create more powerful items. Work your way through to create the most powerful Mythic items. Plus there is an event leaderboard that will give out even more rewards based on your progress. While we've heard the requests and read the tickets asking for the return of the Piggy Bank, it was said not until pigs can fly. Well good news cause this little piggy can grow wings!

The Piggy Bank is BACK!

Available today until Monday October 28th @ 12PM PDT. While the Piggy Bank is active a portion of your Favor Points spent will be saved. What better way to honour the scariest month of the year than with the Halloween Sale! Live now in-game you can check out the all new bundles packed with the Halloween item set and Favor Points. This exclusive promotion will only be available until Saturday October 26th @ 9AM PDT, so check it out while you can!

Next week starting Monday October 28th @ 10AM and running until Friday November 1st @ 10AM is the Halloween Calendar! Work your way through this seasonal challenge to earn yourself XP and the clear bonus items.

Lastly, a reminder that twice a week there are new item drops in-game. Limited Time items on Tuesdays and Limited Quantity on Fridays. Keep an eye out for anything that catches your interest!

Tip of the Week: If you’re looking for more fights check out Chieftain Skirmish in the settings! It will allow you to fight with friends who also have this setting turned on without needing to unfriend one another.

We recently released a new method for players to acquire Favor Points through a system called Rev U. By completing tasks such as making progress in a game or by filling out a survey, players can start earning extra FP for their account! For our Mobile App players, we now have a new option for purchasing Favor Points, the Xsolla Webstore! Not only does it support more payment methods than what was previously available, but you’ll also have access to exclusive larger bundles of FP! A reminder to our players about completing the Kano ID account upgrade. Eligible players (Facebook/Server 1 players) will see the banner on their homepage in-game near the top and it should only take a couple minutes. There are wonderful benefits to doing so:
