TGIF! Viking Clan Updates for September 27, 2024
Happy Friday, players!
While we can’t believe it, September is coming to a close already. It has been a jam packed month with the new Vault Breaker Raid launch, our big Livestream and oh so many events and updates. Thank you to everyone in our community for joining in on so much and with all that said, let’s jump into the news of the week!
In-Game Updates:
They attacked his home at an early age. Destroyed his family and mutilated his arm. He vowed vengeance on every Viking flying under the banner on that fateful day. Now his journey has led him to Viking Clan and he’ll go through anyone in his way. Egil One-Hand has landed on our shores and this Raid Boss will be a blood thirsty foe! Defeat this Raid Boss to earn yourself XP and loot, but be warned because there is something else going on during this event…
Welcome to the Vault Breaker Raid Event! During this event as you battle the Egil One-Hand Raid Boss, you’ll recruit 1 of 5 different Crew Members every time you complete 1000 actions. From there you’ll use your Crew Members to break open Vaults that house valuable loot. The bigger the Vault, the better the prize! As you open Vaults you’ll also climb the event leaderboard which will give out even more rewards at the end. If you’re a Mobster that loves the finer things then this is an event you won’t want to miss. The sun sets earlier in the evenings and the leaves begin to change. It must be Fall and we will mark the occasion with a celebration, the Autumn Sale! There are brand new exclusive bundles of items and Favor Points that’ll only be available until Saturday September 28th @ 9AM PDT. The Volkfest Powder Keg is an explosive weapon that’ll really mark the changing of the season!
Lastly, a reminder that twice a week there are new item drops in-game. Limited Time items on Tuesdays and Limited Quantity on Fridays. Keep an eye out for anything that catches your interest!

General Updates:
For our Discord community, every Friday you can join Matthew and the Player Success team for the Discord Stream! On Fridays at 12PM PDT you can join us live in our growing Kano Community Discord. Hang out and find out what’s happening next in our games, and who knows, you may just win yourself a prize of bonus FP or an exclusive item!
We're also releasing a new feature - requested by the players in one of our Discord Community player polls! - As a QOL improvement, we're rolling out an update to our Adventures feature (where players will be able to choose between different set amounts of Energy to complete Adventures in-game) - See the example below (there will be an energy stepper / multiplier that you can use to apply more Energy to an Adventure)
This will allow players to complete more Adventures, more efficiently (with the option to use 1x Energy, 2x Energy, 5x Energy and 10x Energy) - Keep in mind this will be rolled out in the latest & upcoming version of our Mobile App (version 3.81.1) - Keep an eye out on the Google PlayStore or Apple iOS Store for the newest update!
We recently released a new method for players to acquire Favor Points through a system called Rev U. By completing tasks such as making progress in a game or by filling out a survey, players can start earning extra FP for their account! For our Mobile App players, we now have a new option for purchasing Favor Points, the Xsolla Webstore! Not only does it support more payment methods than what was previously available, but you’ll also have access to exclusive larger bundles of FP! A reminder to our players about completing the Kano ID account upgrade. Eligible players (Facebook/Server 1 players) will see the banner on their homepage in-game near the top and it should only take a couple minutes. There are wonderful benefits to doing so:
- 25 FP bonus for signing up
- Secure your account (protection against potential loss of your Facebook or Mobile credentials)
- Switch between devices or logging onto other Kano hosted sites
- Specials offers on Kanoplay
