TGIF! Zombie Slayer Updates for January 3, 2025
Happy Friday, players!
And Happy New Year Kano Community! It is 2025 and we hope everyone had a wonderful holiday season. The Kano team is back at it and we’ve got tons of exciting plans for this year starting with a big Livestream next week. Welcome back and let’s jump into the news of the week!
In-Game Updates:
A terrible accident resulted in an even more terrifying monstrosity. The Nuclear Engineer Raid Boss has attacked the people of Zombie Slayer! Gather your party and take down this Boss to earn yourself tons of XP and loot drops. However, during this event there is something else going on…
The Raid Games have returned! Completing any actions (attacks and heals) on the Nuclear Engineer Raid Boss will contribute to your team’s overall progress. The team that completes the most actions will claim the top spot on the podium along with the rewards for it! On top of that there are checkpoints along the way and each checkpoint reached will reward you with a bonus item. Ring in 2025 with the New Year Sale! Available right now in-game and running until Saturday January 4th @ 9AM PST. There are all new bundles to check out with the New Year item set along with UN Credits. Deck yourself out in style with the Champagne Chic Speedster to give your attack a good boost!
Coming in hot from the hands of the master craftsmen, are the all new Legendary Clockwork Crates! These come packed with ultra powerful Legendary weapons to obtain, so check it out while they are available. Just a reminder that the 3 x Master Crate packs come with a guaranteed Legendary drop every time!
Lastly, a reminder that twice a week there are new item drops in-game. Limited Time items on Tuesdays and Limited Quantity on Fridays. Keep an eye out for anything that catches your interest!
Tip of the Week: Seasonal Leaderboards are here! During the run of a "season" your progress will be tracked and you can see how you stack up against the rest of the community. This current season will run until Jan 29th @ 9AM. Good luck!

We recently released a new method for players to acquire UN Credits through a system called Rev U. By completing tasks such as making progress in a game or by filling out a survey, players can start earning extra UN Credits for their account! For our Mobile App players, we now have a new option for purchasing Favor Points, the Xsolla Webstore! A reminder to our players about completing the Kano ID account upgrade. Eligible players (Facebook/Server 1 players) will see the banner on their homepage in-game near the top and it should only take a couple minutes. There are wonderful benefits to doing so:
- 25 FP bonus for signing up
- Secure your account (protection against potential loss of your Facebook or Mobile credentials)
- Switch between devices or logging onto other Kano hosted sites
- Specials offers on Kanoplay
